My family couldn’t partake in eating it because the cook included flour in her recipe. When we returned home I located a recipe on the internet and went from there. I modified this recipe to use less sugar, butter and salt but you can add more to your liking.

3 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup + 2 tablespoons milk
6 tablesopoons melted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup cranberries
1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
2. In a large bowl, mix together oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Beat in milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir in dried cranberries. Spread into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
